Our proportional licensing model is based on company size. The correct company size must be selected based on the total number of employees—not just those using the fonts.
The client. As a designer, you only need to purchase a license if you plan to use the fonts for your own commercial projects. Otherwise, your client must be the license holder.
If the company benefiting from the fonts grows significantly, the licensee is required to pay the difference and upgrade to the appropriate license tier.
Yes, but the Logo License is an add-on to a Desktop, Web, or App License and does not cover other uses on its own.
If you need to share the fonts with third parties, an additional fee of 20% of the license fee will apply. Please contact us at info@narrowtype.com if you require this service.
The Student Pack license is for personal and educational use only. Fonts in this pack cannot be used for any commercial purposes.

After completing your order, you will receive a download link with the fonts in .OTF, .WOFF, and .WOFF2 formats. For variable fonts, a .TTF file is also included.
Yes! All Narrow Type fonts are available in variable font formats, which are included at no extra cost when purchasing a full family.
Our fonts contain Latin-extended character set, so most languages using the Latin script are supported. For a full list of glyphs or languages, please see the specific font.

We believe licensing should be simple and fair, which is why our pricing is based on company size—a widely used model in the type industry.
You can select the company size from 1 to 1000 employees. If your company has more than 1000 employees, please contact us at info@narrowtype.com for a customized offer.
The license owner is the company that benefits from the fonts, not the designer purchasing them. This means if you are a designer buying for a client, the correct company size must be selected based on your client’s size.
