Goga Mono is a contemporary monospaced extension of the popular Goga family, designed to perform equally well in code and in design-driven contexts. With 18 styles ranging from Thin to Black plus matching italics, it offers flexibility rarely found in monospaced fonts.
Just like Goga, Goga Mono combines the clarity of neo-grotesques with the warmth of geometric sans serifs. It retains the signature alternates of the original family, while adding new options such as a slashed zero or a simplified lowercase “r.”
To achieve a true monospaced rhythm, every glyph was carefully rebalanced — wider shapes like M, m, W, and w had to be compressed, while narrow letters such as I, i, j, l, and r were widened, with additional horizontal bars introduced to improve spacing and balance. Each character fits seamlessly into a 630-unit system, ensuring consistency across the family.
More than just a tool for developers, Goga Mono is also a powerful design asset. Its even rhythm and clean proportions make it suitable for branding, editorial layouts, and visual identities that embrace the functional edge and unique quirks of a monospaced typeface without sacrificing personality.
Featuring an extended Latin character set and a wide range of OpenType features — including several stylistic sets, fractions, circled numbers, contextual alternates, case-sensitive forms, and more. Whether you’re setting lines of code, designing UI, or crafting a bold editorial voice, Goga Mono delivers consistency, versatility, and character.
Tip for designers: Goga Mono uses the same vertical metrics as Goga, which means you can mix the two families effortlessly in layouts and maintain perfect alignment.
